FAQ

What split modes are available?

You can split by custom page ranges (e.g. 1-3, 7, 10-12), by every N pages to create equal-size chunks, or by selecting individual pages to extract.

Can I get each page as a separate PDF?

Yes. In select-pages mode, choose the separate output option to receive a ZIP file containing one PDF per selected page.

How do I define page ranges?

Enter ranges as comma-separated values in the format 1-3,7,10-12. Each range produces one output PDF file. Overlapping ranges are allowed.

Will splitting preserve the original page quality?

Yes. Splitting does not re-encode images or fonts. The extracted pages retain the same content and quality as in the original file.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

No. Remove the password first using the Unlock PDF tool, then split the unlocked file as needed.
