Temporary server processing in Germany

This tool uses temporary SentryPDF server processing on Fly.io in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Temporary files are configured for 30 minutes and the cleanup sweep runs every 60 seconds.

If the file is highly confidential, prefer a browser-local tool or browser-local mode when one can do the job well.

Bookmark-based chapter split

This server-processed tool uses real PDF outline bookmarks to split one PDF into chapter files and returns the parts as a ZIP archive. It does not guess chapters from headings, layout, or scanned pages when usable bookmarks are missing.
